Virtual Series: What does our transportation network look like in 2050?

What will our future transportation system look like? Will it just happen on its own? And what’s the government’s role? I believe we have a responsibility to think differently about the way public services are delivered, the role government plays and the way our money is spent.

Over the next 6 weeks, I will be hosting a series of virtual town halls structured around our future. Our future is my focus. Each town hall will have a specific issue along with an expert or two. We’ll address challenges and hopefully identify new opportunities. If nothing else, it will be incredibly informative and interesting.

Join me at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, April 22 for our Road and Bridges edition. Khani Sahebjam will join us and we’ll discuss, “What does our transportation network look like in 2050?”

Is it possible to meet our current transportation needs, accommodate our countywide growth, reduce congestion, improve mobility and do it in a safe, accessible and prosperous way?

The quality of political governance and leadership make all the difference. It determines whether a society goes forwards or backwards. Join me, and let’s focus on our future together.
